I had so much fun at RVA Fashion Week! The first event I attended was the Networking Social at The Tobacco Company Restaurant where I met many talented models, designers, photographers, local artists and fellow bloggers.

THREE
The third night of fashion week took place at Maymont, a place of nostalgia for many locals where animals graze to the amusement of children and flowers seem to bloom year round. Within the Nature and Visitor Center was a fashion show which showcased local designers' work to the benefit of UNOS (United Network for Organ Sharing). A living organ donor shared a gripping tale of going under the knife to donate one of her non-essential organs to a total stranger, the ultimate act of altruism. I was inspired by the connection she made between two seemingly unrelated entities, fashion and organ donation.
